Support our RIGHT TO LIFE health fund for the resident kids of our Children Home.
The Kenyan government covers the costs/ expenses of all the antiretroviral drugs for HIV treatment, while all extra healthcare costs are covered by AINA as there is no public healthcare system.
Take Kelvin’s experience as an example; Kelvin is an HIV-positive 16 year old boy who contracted severe bacterial pneumonia in November 2023. He was hospitalised twice and endured intensive therapy and now he’s returned to our Children Home to play and study. To save Kelvin, AINA spent 416,416 Kes (around €3000) because the lives of the children at AINA are priceless.
