It all started in December 2022, when the children of AINA met the story of Chiara. We were building the new school in the village, and as we told them about her, the children began to pray for her.
We thought of a young woman travelling between life and death, and we felt the strength of her smile and of her fighting spirit. Around Chiara, connections of love, friendship and prayer were born.
We decided that, once finished, the school would remember her like this: “Chiara, your smile is always with us”. On 15 August, the solemnity of the Assumption, we blessed and inaugurated it: the school “Chiara’s Smiles”.
We are increasingly convinced that Love is born from Encounter. Chiara teaches us that we must always live every moment with dignity and courage: each of us is responsible for the gift of Life.
Today Chiara is present in the lives of many people touched by her ability to accept and transform pain: she showed us that living means knowing how to give.
This is how the project “Chiara’s Smiles” was born: offering tools for growth to the many children who, like her, struggle to find meaning. You can support it with a donation.
